Our service offers support and advice to our clients when you move through the Court system. Our staff can help you understand what is happening, and also provide support through the process.
We work closely with the Far West Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance Program, who offer skilled support and assistance to women and children seeking protection from the courts in family and domestic violence matters.
Our centre, as part of its commitment to the people of Far West New South Wales, runs an outreach program at Wilcannia and Menindee and also runs a program for Prisoners at the Broken Hill Corrections Centre.
People from other areas in the Far West, such as Ivanhoe, Tibooburra, White Cliffs and Wanaaring are encouraged to make use of our telephone advice line to seek assistance from our service.
We try to visit Ivanhoe, Tibooburra, White Cliffs and Wanaaring as often as we can. Outreach to these locations is dependent on available staffing and financial resources.
