Conflicts of Interest
You will be asked when attending this service the names of any persons related to the matter, particularly the name of the person with whom you are having a dispute, and the names of your children.
You must provide us with this information, as this Service must check if there is a conflict of interest in the matter. The
Solicitors in this service cannot:
• act for or provide advice to both parties in a matter: such as for two different parties in litigation
• act against a former client having previously acted for that party in a related matter or provide advice to you if we have provided advice in a related matter to a former client.
If a conflict of interest arises, you will be advised, and we will refer you to a private solicitor or to another service such as LawAccess NSW.
